Even if you don't live in Bismarck, you can take advantage of this course, Business Law for the Small Business Owner.
I haven't taken it yet, but plan to. The course covers a lot of the essentials like how to deal with government licensing requirements and regulations, as well as problems with collecting from customers.
Bismarck State College also offers other online course that would be helpful for small business owners, or anyone in general. My first priority is to take the Accounting Fundamentals course. I think this will make my CPA step-mother very happy!
